Ken Lalli – Owner and Head Coach

Coaches Picture - Ken LalliKen Lalli is a graduate of Brockton High School and played 4 years for the Boxers. He then went on to play at Massasoit Community College. As captain he led the league in Home Runs and RBI’s. He was named to the All New England Baseball Team 2 years in a row.  Ken also played at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut where he again led his team as captain in HR’s and RBI’s and  was selected to the NCAA All-Conference and All-New England  All-Star Team. Ken finished his playing career for the semi-pro Brockton Merchants.

Ken is currently Head Coach of the Coyle & Cassidy Varsity Baseball Team. He is also Head Coach of the Samurai Elite 18u Blue College Bound Baseball Team. Ken also works as an Associate Scout for the MLB Seattle Mariners and he is the Director of Scouting for The New Bedford Bay Sox in the NECBL ( New England Collegiate Baseball League )  Ken spends endless hours at the Grand Slam Hitting Club and on the baseball field sharing years of experience with younger players.

Ken lives in Lakeville with his wife Kathy and 2 children Jennifer and Andrew.

Coach: Andy Lalli

Andy Lalli joined the Southern New Hampshire University Baseball staff prior to the 2014 season.  Andy also served as the Penmen’s Head JV Baseball Coach. Coach Andy

A two-year member of the Penmen program, Lalli, who split time between catcher, first base and designated hitter, appeared in 103 games and was in the starting lineup 101 times.  He recorded eight home runs and 56 runs batted in while batting .252, finishing his career with 87 hits and 55 runs scored. Andy’s grand slam in the regional tournament helped the Penman to their first College World Series.  Andy started his collegiate career at Central Connecticut, appearing in 71 games for the Blue Devils in two seasons.

Andy is a native of Lakeville, MA, was a four-time All-League selection at Coyle & Cassidy High School voted by the Boston Globe, Brockton Enterprise, and Taunton Gazette. Coach Lalli was also honored all-scholastic.

Andy also played in the NECBL (New England Collegiate Baseball League), played with the Bourne Braves in The Cape Cod Baseball League, and played in The College World Series.

Andy brings years of experience and excitement to the Samurai Academy.
