Head Coach and Owner: Ken Lalli

Ken Lalli President of Samurai Baseball Academy joined the Bridgewater State University baseball coaching staff in the summer of 2018.

Lalli was the head baseball coach at Coyle & Cassidy High School for 11 seasons from 2006 to 2017 as he guided the Warriors to ten state tournament appearances In 2018, he served on the coaching staff at Massasoit Community College during legendary head coach Tom Frizzell's farewell campaign.

Lalli has been a scout in the Seattle Mariners' organization since 2010, and has also served as the president and chief executive officer for the Samurai Baseball Academy in Lakeville, Mass. since 2003. Lalli was also the director of scouting for the New Bedford Bay Sox of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) from 2011 to 2015.

A native of Brockton, Massachusetts and a four-year letterwinner at Brockton High School, Ken played two seasons of collegiate baseball at Massasoit and two more at Sacred Heart University. He was a two-time All-New England selection, served as team captain and led the region in home runs and RBI during his time at Massasoit. Ken also earned All-New England accolades at Sacred Heart where he tied for the team lead in both home runs and RBI in 1980.

Ken presently resides in Lakeville with his wife, Kathy, and two children, Jennifer and Andrew.

Coach: Andy Lalli

Andy Lalli joined the Southern New Hampshire University Baseball staff prior to the 2014 season.  Andy also served s the Penmen's Head JV Baseball Coach. 

A two-year member of the Penmen program, Lalli, who split time between catcher, first base and designated hitter, appeared in 103 games and was in the starting lineup 101 times.  

He recorded eight home runs and 56 runs batted in while batting .252, finishing his career with 87 hits and 55 runs scored. Andy's grand slam in the regional tournament helped the Penman to their first College World Series.  Andy started his collegiate career at Central Connecticut, appearing in 71 games for the Blue Devils in two seasons.

Andy is a native of Lakeville, MA, was a four-time All-League selection at Coyle & Cassidy High School voted by the Boston Globe, Brockton Enterprise, and Taunton Gazette. Coach Lalli was also honored all-scholastic.

Andy also played in the NECBL (New England Collegiate Baseball League), played with the Bourne Braves in The Cape Cod Baseball League, and played in The College World Series.

Andy brings years of experience and excitement to the Samurai Academy.
